Message	and the hardware kit. If it was me I would do exactly as Mario stated: install a nut, run it all the way down the stud until it bottoms out, use a die grinder and remove excess length, back out nut which will clean up your threads and you should be good to go. It is still a tight fit with the shorter stud.
